Speaking events

Anagha Rao and Emily Keller give informative presentations on local animal issues and the environment to various high schools throughout Utah. This presentation is called Animal Issues and the Environment. We began by talking about community cats and the TNR process to control the cat population. Then, we discussed factory farming and the implications of large-scale agriculture on the environment and animal welfare. Our next topic was the fish industry and the ocean damage caused by large-scale fish farming. To conclude, we discussed climate change and the importance of finding sustainable solutions. We discussed ways that teens can help this issue with each topic, whether it is "Meatless Monday" or volunteering to help trap community cats.
